Well-known teacher and pianist, laureate of the Ippolitov-Ivanov International Prize in musical education “for an outstanding contribution in the development of musical culture”, professor at the Paris Alfred Cortot Superior Music School and at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory (France).

A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and of the post-graduate course of the same Conservatory she had been teaching during 11 years in the famous Central Special Music School for Gifted Children at the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and then was a head of a piano chair at the Moscow Ippolitov-lvanov Musical Pedagogical Academy. After teaching at the master classes at the Colmar International Festival (Art Director Vladimir Spivakov) she was invited to work in France as a guest professor.

Many of her students became prize-winners of grand international competitions, latest are Rémi Geniet (2nd Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Brussels, 2013), Lucas Debargue (4th Prize and a Special Prize of the Association of Musical Critics at the XVth International Tchaikovsky Competition, Moscow, 2015), Alexandre Kantorow (1st Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition, Moscow, 2019) … Her students play all over the world in the most prestigious concert halls such as Champs Elysées Theatre, Gaveau, Pleyel (Paris), Carnegie Hall (New York), Grand Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, etc. Rena Shereshevskaya gives master classes in France, USA, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, China…

In parallel with her intensive pedagogical activity she also performs chamber music concerts with internationally renowned musicians. She is also a creator and Art Director of a festival “Artistic Dynasties and Families”.
